PlayMounds by ForeverLawn!
You may have seen mounds in play areas. You may have even specified building a mound in a playground project. It was probably madeusing concrete and covered in pour-in-place or synthetic grass. It’s also probably an unforgiving surface. It’s heavy, took a lot of valuable time to set and install, and if you need to reconfigure the play area—well that mound isn’t going anywhere. So plan to design around it.
We wanted to innovate in this market and create a better alternative. We wanted to build a product that lasts a long time, is easier to install and is flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of your project. Above all, we wanted to build a structure that was safer, and more fun to play on. PlayMounds were designed with those three goals in mind—fun, safety, and durability. Through research and experimentation, we’ve achieved just that.
ForeverLawn has met another need in the industry by creating fully customizable, modular PlayMounds. We have 8 mounds that are pre fabricated, but can take any CAD file of mound (or shape) that needs to be created, and then can custom cut foam to create a stable, permeable fall safe mound. Three Dimensional play is a huge push in the Playground surfacing industry, and these PlayMounds provide the perfect alternative to shock-creting hills, or having to cover mounds in EPDM which is extremely expensive.
